At first, I thought that I would hate this book because I just don't enjoy romance stories. When I do enjoy them it's because I've been either 1.) reading too much of one genre or 2.) I'm in a reading slump. For this book, I started it with neither of these things going on. The beginning was a little slow, but I enjoyed the characters and the dynamic.

This book had one of my FAVORITE tropes, and that is the two characters that dislike/hate each other that end up falling in love. Khole and Cash's relationship was so adorable and sometimes suspenseful in a lot of ways. I felt like I was on the edge of my seat wondering, "Is she finally going to tell him?"

As for the relationship, I wish the characters would have admitted their feelings a little earlier on just so I could have had more cute moments between them, but I also loved that they didn't because it would have been unrealistic. The things that Cash does for Khole gave me butterflies and made me smile like an idiot. (I may have also really enjoyed this because my anniversary with my boyfriend is in a few days)

I didn't think the writing was moving or beautiful, but it told the story in a fun and entertaining way. I didn't care much for the more explicit scenes. They felt a tad unrealistic with the way someone's "first time" actually goes. The dialogue was really awkwardly placed throughout the scenes and it uncomfortable.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book and I think the entire story was a fun read. I'm excited to see where the rest of the series goes because I want to see more of Cash and Khole.
